Lifetime TV Twitter Competition – April 2017: TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Entrants must be UK residents or residents of the Republic of Ireland, over 18 and not employees (or members of their families) of CyDen Ltd, AETN UK, or anyone connected with the draw in any way.
- AETN UK reserve the right to verify your eligibility and to check your identity. You will be asked for proof of your identity and/ or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof in accordance with the timescales set out herein will result in your disqualification from the Competition. All personal details & information you supply must be truthful and accurate.
- Any person who breaches any of these Terms and Conditions will be excluded from access to the Competition.
- The prize draw is open to anyone who follows the entry requirements, displayed on LifeTime TV’s Twitter channel – https://twitter.com/LifetimeTelly
- Once a Follower sees a tweet with “Win a SmoothSkin Bare” contained in it (“the Tweet”) published by LifeTime TV, a Follower enters the Competition by liking and re-tweeting the Tweet. The re-tweet of the Tweet will be your “Entry”.
- By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions and you understand that you are providing your information to AETN UK. Entries can only be submitted by people following @Lifetimetelly On Twitter (“Followers”).
- Your Twitter profile must be set to public before you send your Entry to the Competition otherwise you will not be able to contact us.
- If your Entry does not contain the Tweet or contains content that AETN UK deem to be offensive, illegal, libellous or inappropriate (judged at AETN UK’s sole discretion) they will disregard your Entry.
- By entering this competition, you understand that you are providing your information to AETN UK and agree for your Entry, including your twitter account name, to be used for commercial & promotional purposes by us, without the need for AETN UK to verify your details.
- You can enter the Competition as many times as you wish.
- While AETN UK use all reasonable efforts to obtain all entries containing this hashtag, AETN UK cannot promise that they will be able to do so. AETN UK also cannot be responsible for any Entries to the Competition or prize acceptance responses from winners that are not properly received, incomplete or delayed for reasons outside their control such as actions taken by third parties including Twitter unavailability or network delays affecting Twitter or the internet generally.
- One entrant will win a SmoothSkin Bare device (value £199). The prize is subject to availability and may change at any time without prior notice. Prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offer
- Please allow 6 months for delivery of the Prize from the date you confirm your eligibility to enter the competition
- AETN UK won’t be liable if any prize fails to reach you or you cannot take it for reasons beyond their control. No alternative prize or cash alternative will be awarded.
- If you are a winner in this Competition you agree that you will allow AETN UK to use your name and picture in marketing and publicity undertaken by us, which may be in more than one country and which may be in a number of media, for example, print, television, internet.
- Neither Cyden nor AETN UK will be liable if the device is unsuitable for use on the winner’s skintone. Due to the nature of the technology, IPL treatment is unsuitable for use on very dark skins, i.e. Fitzpatrick skin tone 6. If the winner of the competition is unable to use the device for this reason, no alternative prize will be offered.
- Promotion begins on Thursday 13th April 2017 and ends on Tuesday 18th April 2017.
- The closing date for the receipt of entries is Tuesday 18th April. The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are not received by the closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
- Cyden Ltd are in no way liable in connection with the promotion.
- One winner will be selected at random on Wednesday 19th April and they will be contacted within 7 working days.
- AETN UK will tweet the winner’s Twitter account from the “@Lifetimetelly” Twitter account. The winner must then direct message (“DM”) the account with their email details.
- Each winner will have 48 hours from the time of the winner notification tweet to claim the prize. To do this they must contact AETN UK, prove their eligibility and provide their address.
- If a winner does not respond within 48 hours they forfeit their prize and an alternative winner shall be selected without the need for us to verify your details. Alternative winners will have a shorter time period to respond which will be stated in their request for proof of eligibility email.
- Eligibility to win the prize is subject to you and your Entry’s compliance with these Competition Terms & Conditions. If you are a winner and AETN UK subsequently discover that you have breached these Competition Terms & Conditions (such breach to include but not be limited to you providing inaccurate personal information) you will be disqualified from receiving the prize.
- Judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- No purchase necessary.
- The winner agrees to the use of their name and address and/or photograph for publicity/promotional purposes. No additional compensation will be awarded for such publicity/promotional purposes.
- CyDen Ltd. will provide the prize but accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever in relation to any matter arising out of this competition or the enjoyment of the prize.
- If you are selected as a winner but after entering the Competition subsequently delete your email/Twitter account, AETN UK will not be able to contact you to award you the Prize and an Alternative Winner will be selected.
- AETN UK will use your personal details to enter you into the competition. Where AETN UK or other companies in their corporate group want to use your personal details for other purposes (such as marketing) they will offer you the opportunity to agree or to refuse this.
- Your personal details will be treated in accordance with AETN UK’s Privacy Policy from time to time and in accordance with the law as it relates to people’s personal details.
- This Competition is run by AETN UK, the terms and conditions of any third party supplier may also apply and must be accepted and complied with by the winner. These shall include compliance with any health and safety regulations which apply whilst the Winner is enjoying the Prize. In addition because this Competition uses the Twitter platform, Twitter’s Terms of Service will continue to apply to your use of Twitter and AETN UK recommend you review these.
- CyDen Ltd and AEFTN UK are entitled to amend these Competition Terms and Conditions and/or cancel the Competition without notice where this is necessary in our reasonable opinion for legal or administrative reasons. Any changes to the Competition Terms and Conditions, notices of cancellation or other notices will be set out on this webpage.

Nothing in these terms and conditions removes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by the law. These terms and conditions also do not affect the rights that are granted to you as a consumer by the law. Otherwise, AETN UK will not be liable to you for any matter relating to the competitions offered.
AETN UK will also not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that they do not directly control – for example, mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, software providers and telephone traffic handlers.
