No, it is not necessary to wear eye protection when using SmoothSkin Gold. The system is also fitted with a safety feature to prevent firing into the air. However, you should never attempt to fire on to or close to the eye itself.
Yes. However, we would advise you take care as exposure to sunlight increases skin sensitivity. We would recommend the use of a UV sun protection cream after treatment. We recommend that you allow at least 7 days before or after treatments.
Results can be noticeable within a few weeks of the first treatment (proven results after just 4 treatments). However, this will vary from person to person and area to area, as some treatment areas respond much quicker than others. For the best results, follow the recommended regime, which is once a week for 12 weeks and then once a month as required.
How many treatments have you completed?
Hair growth is cyclical and IPL treatments are only effective during one of the three growing phases (called the Anagen phase). Not all hairs are in the same phase at the same time which is why you need to treat for 12 consecutive weeks. You may have missed a treatment or perhaps you didn’t catch the hair at the right stage.
