Yes. A number of clinical trials have proven that when used properly, IPL gives significant permanent hair reduction. To get the best results, it’s super important that you follow the prescribed treatment regime.

Not usually, most people describe the sensation as a slight tingling or a warm feeling. However, the it does vary from person to person. People with coarse, dark hair may experience an initial sensation similar to that felt by the gentle flick of an elastic band.

Yes – there are a number of conditions that may affect your suitability for IPL treatment. These include (but are not limited to): skin cancer, or any other localised cancer in the areas to be treated; history of vascular disorder, such as the presence of varicose veins or vascular ectasia in the areas to be treated, skin which is sensitive to light and easily develops a rash or an allergic reaction; diabetes; lupus erythematodes; porphyria ; congestive heart disease; skin infections, eczema, burns, inflammation of hair follicles, open lacerations, abrasions, herpes simplex, wounds or lesions and haematomas in the areas to be treated.
